Prayer Wheel 16cm - 8 Auspicious Symbols

Hand crafted from brass, this beautiful prayer wheel is embossed with the 8 auspicious symbols of Tibetan Buddhism and the mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hung, in the Newari Script of Nepal. The prayer wheel contains the mantra of compassion printed on paper thousands of times inside the cylinder. 

The wheel is turned clockwise and according to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, spinning prayer wheels has the same meritorious effect as reciting the prayers. You can also repeat the mantra while spinning the prayer wheel in order to calm the mind and to facilitate the development of compassion and wisdom.
